I need to edit that....(and why can't we edit our posts, it sure would be helpful.)

Nicole will fizzle and a new baroclinic low will form --- but it will be an entirely separate entity that won't absorb Nicole. Nicole will continue as a minor entity of its own and head towards the Carolinas behind the new storm.
