Looking at it earlier this morning, I would have told you that the convection in the NW Carib is all shear induced MCS.
Now looking at it again, an anti-cyclone has formed over it.
At the moment I don't see a boundary-layer convergence on MIMIC-TPW.
However, if the strong updrafts from the heavy convection persists that may change.
I think Target needs label this a new CTI Invest.
I think we are at CTI-09L.
