Great video, as I watched the whole thing I was thinking how weather forecasting has changed so rapidly.  He reminds me of Richard Pash at NHC in a way as he did a lot of stuff by hand. Forecasters seem to be obsessed with model data but I guess this is the future. I personally like to look at satelite imagery first & then look at models to see if they match but I wonder how many forecasters do that. Nash was a perfect fit for his time and I wish I had a chance to see him live in action. One thing he said that I disagree with is when he mentioned how Katrina was "normal" and how it is just natures cycle and man has nothing to do with it. I guess he was ignoring the huge amounts of wetlands that are dissapearing  due to sea level rise which made Katrina worse than it would have been 30 years ago. Man continues to build in vulnerable areas & we will have worse results with each hurricane landfall. Overall a great career and how he taught the weather speaks volumes.
