Snowiest Day EVER at South Bend

South Bend, Indiana has set a new record for the most snow ever in one day.  

The snowfall from midnight to 7 PM Saturday of 26.0" demolished the old record of 20 set more than 100 years ago on 1/30/1909!  

Storm total snowfall for S. Bend is now OVER 36!  

S. Bend has now had 64.2 of snow this winter (with a more northerly wind, they've had the snow).  

Snowfall rates in northern Indiana have been as high as 3.5 in one hour!  Benton Harbor is up to 19 for a storm total with 17.5 at Buchanan MI and 11 in Paw Paw.  

Mishawaka, IN has had 29 of snow.
