North Carolina: Desert By The Sea

Hello; I thought I'd just make note of a weather oddity today. We're not noted for desert-like air here along the SC/NC coastal border but the lack of moisture today is at record levels.
At 4pm we had this:
Temperature 71F
Dew Point 11F
Boy is that dry! Dry enough to make us a "Desert by the Sea."
