When my hubby and were covering the outdoor furniture last night-- anticipation of---I was shocked to see that the black bags we had laid out on the deck-- had yalla dust on them!

So I would guess it's starting NOW!!  

What I have been told--in our area-- it lasts 2 to 3 weeks.  There are two or three kinds of pines-- which is why is lasts so long.  Last year-- instead of stringing it out-- they all let loose at the same time-- partly why it was so heavy!

Go for the allergy pills and masks if you are affected.  I hate it--but whatcha gonna do when you live in a pine forest!!  Mostly run the air and don't open the windows?!!

Draw pictures on your car windows-- get creative-- since it's gonna fall no matter what you think about it.
