total of 11,125 spent fuel rod assemblies were stored at the site
380 lbs of uranium per rod
Total amount of spent uranium = 2114 tons
500 active fuel rods in a reactor
Total amount of active uranium = 570 tons
The Hiroshima bomb had 142 lbs of Uranium.
1.3 lbs was converted to energy when it underwent fission.
