Someone must have called TEPCO Health Physics to find out how to make the proper "adjustment" to the detector.
Normal backround is about 10 to 30 CPM.
Other monitors are confirming the beta radiation.
Looks like it is running along the tail of the front and being washed out.
High readings in south TX and LA as well.
I would suggest anyone in SE CONUS to stay out of rain and take KI.
