Draw a thick line from Puerto Rico, thru Arkansas, to Yellowstone, Mt St Helens and extrapolate to Alaska on this map.

With the severe weather event going on in SE CONUS and the magnetic field shift, based on the below top graph, at that time led me to think PR was under the gun.

But, like I said before, there was a quick shift back to a postive TEC anomoly which IMHO mitigated a large quake; instead, the energy impulse into the fault was spread out and it resulted in a swarm of smaller quakes.

The jump in TEC came from a sudden increase in Solar Wind Speed.

Solar Wind Speed directly alters the magnitude of the earths magnetic field.

You can get a sense of it how it interacts with the Interplanetary Magnetic Field, in the second image below.

Belive me, magnetic forces on the earth's plates have a dramtic effect on their stresses and movements which ultimately leads to quakes.

Need to keep an eye on this area; could be a precursor for a major quake.
