Update: Tornado moving East...Reports of substantial 1/4 mile sized tornado in Mapleton, IA area, and trees and power lines down.

A tornado also touched down near Whiting, IA around 6:30 PM Saturday night. We've heard from the Monona County Sheriff's Department debris is everywhere, including trailors blocking roads. The situation is on-going. Our whole area is under a severe weather threat. Stay tuned to Channel 9 for the latest information.
