Personally alot has to play into effect here.  As stated earlier last month, I had done some digging about hurricanes, the last time we had a historic hurricane year was in 2005, this was after the 2004 Tsumami that occured 24 Dec 2004 in the Indian Ocean, and they had said that that earthquake moved the Earth's axis a degree or two.  Here we are again, Major earthquake, which again shifted the Earth's axis, which tells me that we will indeed see another historic hurricane season much like 2005.
