| Made a run to Baton Rouge today, from Houston, to pick up the college kid's stuff. The Whiskey Bay Pilot Channel is running wide and fast already. The Atchafalaya basin is more full than I have seen it in the past 3 years worth of trips over it. Can't imagine what it will be like once they open the Morganza spillway. And parts of the LSU campus out near the baseball fields and ag complex are already gettin' soggy. |
