| I know, it's crazy, not sure how the farmers are staying in biz - I've noticed beef prices are dropping big-time at the grocery store - once upon a time $3 for "ok" ground beef was a good price, now you get "Rancher's Resserve" 93% lean for that price - cattle farmers are selling stock early in large amounts, they have no land that's worth grazing - these ppl are used to extreme temps in summer, but not so darned early as they came this year. our area has been fully 10 degrees above normal for way too long... that is, after the 2 wks of unreal freezing temps we had in Feb ! all in all, a very unusual weather ytd |
