Surface pressure drops after surface wind directions change.
The thing I am looking for is a surface CCW rotation and convergence.
When that happens, air is lifted and then surface pressures begin to drop.
What is interesting to me is that UL winds seem to be improving, which is key in creating the uplift. CW winds in the UL troposphere is a very good thing.
WV is looking better as well. It is expanding out.

Granted there is a lot of cells popping all over the place, but IMHO this is in fact helping to warm the upper troposphere which gets the UL outflow going.
An opportune time for a spin up would be around sunrise Saturday morning when UL temps are at their lowest creating the greatest lift for convection to fire.
