I agree....I think a center reformation is coming closer to the deep convection. Looks due east like you said, and a little south....and if that happens, this thing could strengthen rapidly. The deep convection is there.
It's hard to really take the models after 72 hours very seriously just because of the questionable center, the impact Hispanola will have on this system, the uncertainty of a ridge vs. a trough of low pressure and the strength of each........I think once this gets past Hispanola, then the models should have a much better handle on where this thing goes. |
