The 850mb vort is elongated north to south and the 500mb vort is well off to the east and not concentrated at all. Emily still can't strengthen much until this is resolved. She is still very disorganized. I still see a movement of south to west and a more shift west for the models in the morning. This is looking more like a eastern Gulf storm. She could bomb out if she ever reaches the cat 5 generator.
The poor people of Haiti will be hit hard with copious amounts of rainfall. |
