i was in England when a big storm had hit that was similar to a hurricane but there was no rain associated with it. I remember well the willow tree branches streching as far as they could go in my back yard when I looked out from the slinding glass doors of the patio and then heard the crash of glass against the wall of the house from the upstairs window.
I remember the next day looking at the aftermath of some of the small trees on the base that has been uprooted, but RAF Bentwaters had been hit the worst as the whole entire forest that was there was completely gone. much like this photo looked...
