My analysis of 93L
Posted by Shalista on 8/10/2011, 8:10 pm

It seems thatthe SAL has decreased for where our little invest is located at right behing where invest 92l used to be which probably took in the SAL and the dray air that is ahead of it.  The one thing we have to keep an eye on is how long the shear factor is going to persist in the Caribean.

Another factor we have to concider is the stearing winds and where this thing is going to be going as we saw with Emily, the stearing winds took her in the direction where she went according to the location of her formation.

Steering winds 700-850mb

looking at said image above tells me one thing, the carribean, gulf or out to the atlantic for now, but I'm no met either, what are your thoughts Jim am I doing ok so far on this?
