92L concerns me ....

The models have trended very far west in the past two days.  The models are also telling us, fairly consistently that after any WNW movement, there will be a bend back to the west (i.e., a ridge building back in).

We are nearly 5 days from this storm even nearing the vicinity of the Antilles and Leewards.  Up to nearly two weeks before U.S. impact.  So we are pretty far down the  road from knowing or being affected.

Vigorous Cape Verdes LLCs have been able to get cooking near the islands and move into the Eastern Caribbean, and into the Gulf and hit Florida in the past decade, at least, that we've observed.  If this one does that, that is where I get concerned.

Quick side note:  we could expend 4 names by the end of the weekend.  That would be amazing to say the least.  Doesn't matter if they're all fish.  That's just amazing.  I don't think any of the basins spins up and spins down in activity like the Atlantic.

1998 comes to mind, when there were 4 hurricanes in the Atlantic all at once.
