Look at the SAL out there....



Mid lvl WV



and look at the line of wind shear that follows the path of where the waves are coming off of Africa..



The steering winds West atlantic



Steering winds east atlantic



Unless these waves start coming off the african coast at a higher latitude, i don't think they will be affecting the US anytime soon, or they will be recurving out to sea.  I think we are more of a threat of something developing off of a front in the GOM than anything atthis point int time right now IMO.
