And GFDL rides it up the west coast.
The issue forecasting this storm is going to be the speed and the turn. Usually we see storms that turn do so before Florida and go out to sea. That's why cities like Jacksonville, Daytona and Savannah haven't seen a major hurricane in ages. This looks like a "David" or "Donna" like storm where that turn is going to be later, and it timing/speed is everything. |
