It seems like strong hurricanes have a mind of there own at times. The wobbles can and do shift forecast points and in the long run can take tracks of canes several hundred miles of course. The main concern with wobbles are when a approaching cane is close to land fall those wobbles can and do cause many unforeseen damage. A famous wobble storm was Hurricane Charley 2004.
