Hi all... I'm new to this site and just wanted to send a post about what is going on up here in Maine...
Our local news (out of Bangor) is starting with its lead story about Irene... and our local meteorologist are concerned about remants bringing flooding rain to our part of he world...
I'm an NWS cooperative observer and can testify to the fact that it has been a wet summer across much of eastern and northern Maine... (August has had almost 5"...)
The only good thinng is that our water is very cold... just 58 degrees off Bar Harbor (about 15 miles SE of my location)...
I use to live in RI and whent though Gloria and Bob... Bob's eye passed over my house in Tiverton RI... we gusted to 69mph with a minimum pressure of 28.53"Hg (my all time lowest)...
Well have a great day!
