| Two points of interest from Jim's update for me: The possibility that Irene could end up turning out to sea after all, and the chance that she will ramp up to cat 4 or even 5 OVER the NW Bahamas, which is a merciless nightmare for those people. Horrible. When all is said and done they may well turn out to be this storm's most battered victims. |
