I am in Ft Lauderdale and you are right, it is driving me crazy. I know the NHC has faith in the models but I will feel a whole lot better when I see that nw turn today. 11pm discussion-- ...EVEN THE STUBBORN GFDL WHICH PREVIOUSLY INSISTED ON BRINGING IRENE TOWARD FLORIDA HAS NOW SHIFTED EASTWARD AND HAS JOINED THE OTHER DYNAMICAL MODELS. THIS INCREASES THE CONFIDENCE IN THE TRACK FORECAST EVEN MORE.
