Looking at the reference page you had, the shelters on long island....what is surge going to do these right on the point and along the southern border?  The winds with a storm like this shall totally destroy, but the surge is the death.  Be safe !!!  YOU NEVER WANT TO LOSE A BET WITH A HURRICANE !!!!
