I am sure that they are acutely aware that any indication of weakening may be wrongly misinterpreted by some that precautions or evacuations are not necessary.
We know that 5 or 10 MPH is not that big a deal....just maybe that your roof only blows a block away instead of two blocks!
There are those gusts, those tornadoes(shutter), and rain.
I REALLY hate the idea that this thing is hitting us at night. I personally like to see what is coming!
