Just back to warehouse from my deliveries today.Roads are crazy,shopping centers are crazy,gas stations are crazy!!!Took me 30 minutes to get out(drive out) of one shopping!!!!seems like most are taking the seriously which is good.But one guy told me he is not worried it's just gonna be like a bad thunderstorm.I just looked at him and said your in for a rude awaking pal.
First time ever NYC has had a mandatory evacuation,all low lying areas including the Rockaways.Fire Island mandatory evacuation.Suffolk said mandatory eveacuation will be in place for some southshore towns tomorrow.Long beach,lido beach,Atlantic beach voluntary evacs as of now.These are barrier islands of Nassau county.Im sure some towns along the southshore of Nassau will be evacuated(especially Freeport).Driving around o deliveries today i saw so many buisness putting up plywood on thier windows.Just looks crazy seeing that here!!Going to be a crazy weekend here.
This may sound crazy,but I hope we do the worse case scenario.Because if we don't next time no one will pay attention!!!!!! |
