The rain is just starting in Hampton Roads. The worst is to be tomm between 8pm and midnight. Floodgates closed. Preparations nearing completion. Evacuations in progress. Shelters open. Forecasting sustained  winds for me at 40 to 80 mph...some forecast..yes?

Keep thinking about those new rules for home owners deductible. Ours was a couple hundred but is now $8000+ ouch.

As soon as storm is past, heading out with health services for Red Cross. I will try and check in with my iPad, but it is not looking good concerning electricity and cable (wireless).

The blessing in disguise, hopefully, it that it may put out the 6000 acre fire in the nearby Dismal Swamp.

I am peaceful about it...not worried, things are just that...things....people are the most important. Half of my grown kids are here. with us helping. Another is in Afghanistan....concerned about what is happening here, and the other is on tour with Josh Groban...also trying to keep up with us here.

Thanks for asking. Heading to bed...will be a long day tomm...
