Not taking anything away from the people in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, as I know they have a lot of wind and rain to deal with, but to think how much worse this could have been. We were talking about a possible cat. 3 or cat. 4 a couple days ago, and we have been so lucky to only get a cat. 1. Damage shouldn't be too bad. Rain and flooding is going to be the biggest problems
I was scared to death a few days ago because I have a house on the Jersey Shore, but feel safer now. Hope everyone rides this thing out, and I always look at the positive side of things, not the negative......and the positive is an 80mph storm is a heck of a lot better than one that could have been 140 or 150. |
