Ok, they dry air is like how far away from the center of the storm now?

Years ago I postulated here that some storms use heat from the surface, and some storms seem to use the heat difference between the north and the south.... I remember late 2005 storms which seem to oddly grow via this.

A little dry air brought into a large moist storm might allow for stronger squalls in place of a strong eye, I don't know....

It is kind of a yin yang thing.... If Irene has tons of moisture then a little dry air might not slow it down a bit.

I would not trust my intuition over the models, but it sure would be nice if the models would simply agree on the same initial facts.

It is simply not acceptable for some models to use 970mb pressure. Some heads should roll, IMHO.
