The freshwater floods in jersey are higher than anyone in my town has ever seen. I have friends who are trapped in their houses in cranford nj. Floodwaters forecast to rise. In manhattan we were basically spared. I wish I could say the same for jersey. Almost no one in union and essex has power. The raritan river is causing serious damage. I think I remember gianmarc saying irenes legacy will be the water and he was dead on. Here is a pic from my hometown
