As horrible as this sounds I think this year maybe a wakeup call to the people up north and they will pay heed to future tropical events.
jim or someone is this true? "Though the storm was a remnant of Lee, Wysocki also blamed Hurricane Katia, far out in the Atlantic, for the lingering downpour. He said Katia and a slow-moving high pressure system over Ohio "acted as blockers," producing a narrow corridor for the storm as it came north."
