Can I ask a question, which farmers almanac are you using, because the one I use doesn't say a hurricane threat Oct 1-3....mine says Southeast U.S.Long Range Weather Forecast October 2011
1st-3rd. Thunderstorms spread into the Mississippi River Valley. Now on the 16th-19th it states a tropical disturbance lurks off the Atlantic Coast...sounds like Phillipe to me....in my almanac the SE covers Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, and Florida.
