WELL-- I am enduring the "yellow snow" here too!  And the local stories that I have heard relate more to the early warm temps--that all 5 varieties of pines predominately in the area all "popped" at the same time!!  FOG!!  Just like fog!!

It goes away-- eventually, although hand scrubbing on the deck is necessary, power washer won't do it!  Price we pay for being GREEN!!!  LOL
