Have a big brush fire going on here on Long Island.started at 2:30 yesterday afternoon, As of now it is contained but still burning. Last report was 1000 acres have burned so far. and 125 fire departments are battling the blaze. 3 houses and one commercial building have burned.One good thing is it is not as windy as it was yesterday.
