| This model has shifted almost 180 degrees. Just have to wait until the hunters get out there and pin point a center....models need a lot more data...and wait on more precise upper air data before they (models) start initializing well...instead of flip flopping. The enire Gulf states need to pay attention the next few days and get prepared. People will still be caught offguard because of the media not given a heads up in time to get everyone aware that there is the possibility out there. it seems as though people wake up from one morning of not having anything on the radar except very hot temperatures to a system may be at your doorstep in five to seven days. I get tires of listening to meteorologists on out local news/talk radio stations when asked about the tropics they give some ho-hum answer and almost for-sure statement that there is nothing for us to be concerned at all about....then the next morning there is a possible catastrophe on the horizon. Anyway..... u all know what I mean. There... I got that off my chest. |
