Yucatan Low

There is a larger envelope low in the central GOMEX and then a secondary, more tightly wound low near the northern Yucatan Peninsula, with convection firing to the north and east of this second low.
I think someone in the other thread noted that this setup is very reminiscent of Arlene in 2005.
In any event, it is starting to develop slowly and I still suspect that the HH will find a low level center and convection sufficient to give us TD 4 tomorrow. Probably going to be about where it is right now, possibly wobble west some, as it is tugged by the larger envelope low. |
