I agree--I think this is a rather stunning stat to consider. When you start talking about beating out ANY portion of the 2005 season, you're talking the big leagues. It's a very serious stat that should cause some alarm. However, in my experience, early activity rarely is an indication of an active season as a whole. Will be interesting to see which way this goes.
