| What you're seeing on the west side of the broad surface LLC, I think, are some t-storms trying to build but getting confined to the surface layer rather than stacking higher into the mid or upper levels due to relentless shear from that ULL in the western GoM. To me it serves more as an illustration of the shear this thing is battling rather than any development of the west side of this system. |
