What happens, happens. Watching things 24/7 will not change the outcome. The models run, the models walk. Sattelite loops are nice to look at, but dont compare to a radar. An just when you think, the almighty accuracy of the models fails and WHAMO, some place will get caught in the crosshairs unexpectedly.
