Isaac has been tracking south or west of the forecast points.

Meaning, there is most likely less and less interaction, if any, with Hispaniola expected. (In terms of mountains impacting the cyclone. The impact of the cyclone on the island due to flooding can still be very devastating.) Then it's up to the angle it takes at Cuba. It could yet sneak under that island somewhat.

Can't wait for the upper air data from the G-IV for the models later to overnight tonight.

Of course the storm has to organize before any of them are that meaningful.
