| I did not see damage on Miami Beach but I did see damage farther north not pretty and damage when heading to Homestead to help with clean up, stuff of nightmares. I remember seeing Andrew on Friday (8/20?) ARC TV (the hair on my arms stood up), when the briefing ended I walked to a phone and told my mom "evacuate a major hurricane is coming." She laughed said it is a tropical storm. Yes she did evacuate. |
