I am making plans. With the size of this thing, even offshore, this could cause a lot of flooding. This is a very large storm and the surge potential could be significant. It's still early, but I have seen ridiculous things on TV this morning. We're not all clear here in Tampa.

This is a large storm that can move a lot of water. The wind could end up not being too big of a problem where I am, but the surge could easily be. This storm doesn't need to make landfall in Tampa. The west coast of Florida needs to watch this storm carefully. I'm less than 9 feet above sea level, so I am really watching this carefully. Plus, about 4 feet cuts me off from evacuating.
