Not really sure what to use to show that well.
Could use the GFS: http://mag.ncep.noaa.gov/NCOMAGWEB/appcontroller Model Guidance > (NAMER or ATLANTIC) > UPPER AIR PARMS > Select which > Then Loop All
Not sure about past history though and how to show that well, unless you look at a slightly older loop.
Not sure about ECMWF. I don't see a great place to find that particular data for that model.
TWC on TV just actually had a nice graphic of GFS and ECMWF and the jet stream on each and how the GFS misses the storm as the jet stays way north and the ECMWF has the jet farther south and is far down enough to steer the storm into the Pensacola area. Maybe they will show that again. |
