Hi CFAO, the following is a public service announcement for pregnant mothers from the US Navy Hospital.
At TCCOR-1C, all pregnant mothers at 37 weeks or greater are advised to report to the hospital and check in at the quarterdeck to remain onboard until weather conditions are safe. Please keep in mind that accommodations will be in a community setting and privacy will be limited. Due to space restrictions, you may bring, only ONE adult with you (no children or pets please).
For your comfort, the hospital recommends that you bring: - Sleeping bag & pillow - Prescription meds - Appropriate comfortable clothing - Toiletries and towels - Snacks - Entertainment (playing cards, puzzles, games, books) - Headphones for portable entertainment devices - Small bills and change for the Galley (meal costs are $3 for breakfast and $5 for lunch and dinner)
If you need medical care during this time, you will need to report to Labor and Delivery. If you do not need medical care, we will continue to provide you with shelter until cleared to return home. PAO |
