Thank you, love doing this stuff.
I had two errors for September. Most storms for one date is 8 not 7 on the 9th, and most majors for a date is 4 not 3 on the 20th
Here are some facts on US landfalling dates
Date that has had the most Landfalls-- 8 on September 9th
Date with most Majors- 4 on August 4th, and September 20th
Of the 183 day season 116 days have seen a landfall 67 days have had none
June 14 of 30 dates had landfall
July 17 of 31
August 26 of 30
September 30 of 30
October 26 of 31
November 3 of 30
Every date from August 23 to October 21st has had at least one lanfall(60 days)
Longest stretch of dates with atleast 1 major is 11( August 26- September 5) |
