The list of the causes of death were surprising. I saw electrocution, which is not unusual...and drowning. However, I was amazed at all the fatalities caused by trees. I wonder if these people were out walking in the storm, or in their cars, or in their homes?

I thought that hurricane stats always showed more people die in the storm surge...but this does not seem to be true in this case.

Certainly, all these are tragic.
