one storm will do double trouble and everyone will continue to call it that in the media even if they don't want to
every social media is using them...
type in brutus (rolling eyes) and you get tons of hits
as soon as one is deadly beyond the normal realm of "bad storm" the name will stick

they get big numbers when there is a named storm about to hit... isaac, ike, etc...and after the hurricane season ends they have nothing to work with that has a NAME
good advertising scheme
