Orangeburg, SC (WLTX) - High winds related to an F1 tornado caused damage in part of Orangeburg County Tuesday afternoon. The storms began moving through the southeast part of the county around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday.
The twister hit the ground and created 100 mph winds that caused problems around the town of Bowman. Trees were down on Interstate 26 East at mile marker 168, near the I-95 interchange.

Not often we see tornados here either, but there seems to have been alot of activity in the midstate of SC, last week a tornado was in Clarenden County. |
